Kite / build and distribution

Kite is a Java library built with Maven. The original download endpoints are no longer live, so this page preserves the build and distribution notes.

Build from source

Kite was built with Maven 3. The usual workflow applies:

mvn clean install

For a snapshot deployment to a Maven repository, the build used mvn deploy after the tests passed.

Distribution

The project used a hosted Nexus repository from Sonatype. The continuous integration plan deployed snapshots to that repository, which made the latest build available to other projects.

If you are rebuilding Kite today, point Maven at your own repository and use the same two commands.
